Lucio is one of the oldest olive varieties dating back to 600 B.C. when the Roman Empire was ruled by Lucio Tarquinio Prisco. Both combined in an olive oil, emphasize its intense fruity smell of green olive with notes of fig and fresh wood. In the mouth it presents a well defined bitterness and itching with an extended aftertaste. A noble oil where the body and character, provided by the Picual variety, are nuanced by the presence of the Lucio.
